This privacy policy covers Perth Legal Guide, an independent directory of lawyer businesses in Perth Metropolitan. The site is published by Scout Local Media, who is responsible for the information described below. Questions about any of it can go to hello@scoutlocalmedia.com.au.
What we collect
The forms on this site (enquiries and quote requests) collect the details you type in: name, email address, phone number, your message, and any service or timing answers the form asks for. Each submission also carries the URL of the page it was sent from, plus traffic-source attribution such as the referring site and UTM parameters, so we know which page and channel the enquiry came through.
Who receives your enquiry
Form submissions are processed by our lead-capture processor and delivered to the business you enquired about and to the operator of this site. If you asked a specific lawyer business for a quote, that business receives your details so it can respond.
Cookies and local storage
To keep attribution accurate, the site stores traffic-source details (referrer, landing page, UTM parameters) in your browser’s sessionStorage. This is first-party, lives only for the current browser session, and is not a tracking cookie: it never follows you to other sites and disappears when the session ends.
Analytics
This site may run Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Where analytics is enabled, those services may set cookies to measure visits and page use, under Google’s own privacy terms.
Third-party services
Some page elements load from third-party services, which means those services see your browser’s requests (including your IP address): Google Fonts for typography, OpenStreetMap for map tiles, and Cloudflare Turnstile for spam protection on forms, when enabled. Each operates under its own privacy policy.
Business listing information
The business listings on this site are compiled from publicly available sources, including Google Business Profile reviews. We store derived analysis (scores, summaries, sentiment), not raw review text. If your business is listed and you want a correction or removal, the listing policy explains how.
Your requests
Enquiry details are retained while they are needed to deliver and follow up the enquiry, and not longer than that purpose requires. You can ask for access to your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by writing to hello@scoutlocalmedia.com.au.
